The history of Kateera & Kagumire is a story of determination and hard work. More than a century ago, two British citizens, Hunter and Greig set up the first law practice in Uganda.

The firm was later joined by other eminent legal practioners of their days like, Keeble, Cohnhan, Akankwasa, Kateera, Kasibayo, Sengoba and Kagumire.

The firm grew and consistently made a significantly great contribution towards the development of jurisprudence in Uganda.

Currently the Firm has three partners assisted by 7 fully qualified lawyers all of outstanding academic excellence. They are assisted by 20 support staff.

Over the years, the Firm has built a reputation for offering comprehensive advice to its diverse clientele and has effectively responded to their specialised needs.
